Daniel Radcliffe was on Jay Leno the other night and he was absolutely adorable. Totally funny and dorky and charming and sweet, great moments included when he didn't understand the word "dough" and when he yelled "Oh my god!" when Leno's TV screen popped up. Also enjoyable, the clip they play from OoTP. So excellent, if you have no love for him, you should totally love him after this. NOTE: I couldn't find the second part of the interview! So, no clip from OoTP or yelling about tv here. You can watch the links here, however. I highly recommend...
Video musician? Musical video artist? Multi-media documentarian? Whatever term you decide to use, Takagi Masakatsu combines ambient piano with psychadelic visuals of people and places, in a way that's haunting and beautiful.
Note: This video reminds me so much of seeing them in concert at the Showbox. I have all these blurry cell-phone pics of Torquil Campbell et al that are basically red lights shining and blurry figures playing instruments. Anyway, I'm sorry that's not a particularly interesting note, but I thought it was kind of relevant...
This makes me laugh every time.
This video (it's a joke!). Sorry I couldn't post the video directly - Vox is a bitch sometimes, and only lets you connect with very specific video places. *shakes fist at Vox*
I LOVE Michael Cera. As George Michael Bluth, he was the most relatable character in Arrested Development, by far; or at least the least screwed up (despite his inability to catch objects being tossed at him). He's also starring in the upcoming SuperBad, which looks pretty funny, at least according to the trailer (but really, you never know, so I'm not holding my breath just yet). And also - these videos.
The first is the original, "Impossible is Nothing," a Yale graduate made this video resume and sent it around to Fortune 500 companies. The second is Michael Cera's parody. I feel (and I'm not the only one) that Michael Cera's version is hilarious, and so much more so when you've seen what he's spoofing. Enjoy.
