I had a 20% off coupon and 10.00 off anything at the Gap so I combined them and splurged on these new things. The sweater may or may not fit so that might be a returner. I like the Gap for jeans, but have found that their tops often fit kind of funny. I love the pants though - on sale, work appropriate, from the European collection.
If I have some issues with money spending, particularly on coats, sales, and shoes. I love coats. I probably own about four wool coats and like 500 jackets, I tend to buy them on sale at the end of the season, but this year I have two now and it is not even cold yet. I just bought this adorable wool military coat from the Gap European collection. I could not resist. It is so cute! And European! The other coat I have, my mom bought for me (thanks mom!) and it's navy blue and has a hood. (It was on sale). So, I'm fully prepared for snows, blizzards, getting lost in the tundra, etc, etc.
I keep having to close my windows quickly as coworkers walk by and I don't want them to read words like "Ravenclaw" or "bitches" in alarmingly large type. Seriously, vox, you could make the subject line a little smaller.
I'm so excited because I just ordered a Light-Wedge booklight with interchangeable Harry Potter themed switches and a Ravenclaw soft-case. Plus, Oprah recommended it, although I think she's lost some cred what with that talking up the Secret. The real secret is that that book is total and complete bullshit. Also, though, I think someone snitched.
What I can't figure out is how exactly this works just by looking at the picture. Apparently it is a screen that rests on top of the page? And the LED light shines directly onto the page? But how do you turn the pages? Do you use that funny two-pronged item to do that? Because that sounds like a P.I.T.A. Or, Pain In The Ass. Goes well with hummus.
Bad joke, I know.
The book lights are on sale 10.00 off for the pre-release of HPB7 (24.95 instead of 34.95, worth it if you aren't allowed to read past 11 PM, which I am not, due to sleepiness of bedmates). And, my case was only an additional five. So, totally a steal.

This week is going to be CRAZY (see above), and this is coming from someone who is rarely busy, much less swamped. Summer projects are ramping up at work; and I'm still working on finishing up some end-of-schoolyear projects. So, I won't have much time for blogging. Quick weekend wrap-up - went shopping with Jen and bought 4 pairs of shoes, 2 of which are boating shoes. Yes, I'll be spending a lot of time on my yacht this summer. Also, BR outlet - amazing resource for new work clothes. 3 pairs of pants and one sweater for 100.00? And all work appropriate? Fantastic. Watched our latest Netflix arrival - The Fountain - 1 part ridiculous, 2 parts beautiful (and a great score), 1 part Hugh Jackman. Overall it was pretty good, but loses points for being ridiculous at some points and also for Hugh Jackman. Tried going to Solstice fair/parade but failed, because of traffic and parking and irritability. Also, toenails.
