I bought a whole pineapple the other day from Whole Foods, because it was considerably cheaper than buying those containers of pre-cut pineapple. But ho-ly-crap! This pineapple is super acidic. I eat it in the morning with grapes and (Straus' European Style Vanilla) yogurt poured over the whole thing and it's really delicious. But afterwards, my mouth feels raw, like it has been scraped with sandpaper all night. I'm a little nervous about buying a whole pineapple again because really, the acidity is unreasonable. I feel like the deformed Phantom in the Phantom of the Opera, except I don't live in an opera house, and the acid burn is in my mouth, not on my face, and I don't have to wear a mask, but I do have to avoid hot liquids. Yeah, we're kind of exactly alike.
Also, I tried to be lazy and find an image of a Killer Pineapple! Thinking that some person out there had to have photoshopped something better than I could come up with. Well, as far as I can tell, I was wrong. So here you are.
Yesterday Casey shaved off his beard, and in the process we took photos of him with a chin-strap, a goatee, a soul patch, and a moustache. And... this is the end result. Apologies to Casey and Robot for putting them in such company, but hilarity comes at a price.
